AnsurWeb Services has been in business since 1996, and is owned and operated by Judy Cannon. Judy had the idea that a community site that offered unique services to students and teachers involved in learning and teaching high-tech IT subjects would be a great idea, and then spent countless hours building this. Judy's other jobs include working as an Adjunct Faculty member at Austin Community College in Austin, Texas. She teaches many of the online classes offered by the Webmaster Certificate program. Judy has a B.S. in Computer Science from Texas State University, and has been programming and managing projects since 1991. Community Site Mission: We hope to provide content that helps students sort out all their options, to make informed decisions about an IT career path, and construct an Individual Learning Plan to keep them on track to ultimately reach their goals. And we hope to empower inexperienced computer users, and assist them in their quest to overcome the educational and economic challenges they face in entering the IT field. Along the way, we hope to provide a safe, enjoyable and supportive community website for students to use to help themselves, as well as help others. In addition, the community is also about creating a bridge between creativity and e-commerce - as we watch students use what they are learning to create marketable products for others, and perhaps inspire students to become entrepreneurs.
