Many students are confused about the order to take classes, and I get questions about this all the time.

The core classes are the best start. Intro to WWW Authoring, HTML and CSS, then Intermediate WWW Authoring, HTML and CSS next is a great plan.

After these two courses you should take Intro to Programming, if you don't have any programming experience. After the programming course, I recommend taking Javascript Programming.

My Advanced WWW Authoring, HTML and CSS class is best taken after you take Javascript, so you have some Javascript programming under your belt first.

Ajax requires Javascript knowledge, so you must take Javascript before Ajax as well. Most of the other programming electives can be taken any time after Intro to Programming, as long as you view and adhere to any specific prerequisites listed in the descriptions.
