Turning off firewall problem?

I want to turn my firewall off so that i can play playstation 2 online. Every time i try to turn it off it says would you like to start the window’s ISC service. I click ok. And it says it could not start. Why can’t i turn off my firewall. Please somebody give me instrustion on how to! 5 star rating!
thank you everyone but so i don’t lose points HOW DO YOU FIND YOUR DEFAULT ROUTER??

    Sounds like the windows firewall is already off. Unless you have other firewall software or a router, you shouldn’t have to do anything else.

    Click on Start – run – type in services.msc and scroll down to the bottom on the right hand side and you will see windows firewall… double click on it and select disabled in the list….. and click on ok… thats it that should disable the windows default firewall….
